MUSCAT: Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan conferred the coveted and prestigious ‘Outstanding Pakistani Citizen Award‘ to Muscat resident Syed Shaandar Ali Shah Bukhari.
The award is for showing outstanding philanthropical and social welfare services for the expatriate and Pakistani communities residing in the Sultanate of Oman, which has helped towards enhancing the bilateral relations and strengthening the social fabric of both the societies.
The commendation ceremony, held in the illustrious Governor House saw the convergence of luminaries who are driving positive change in various fields from around the world.
The Governor conveyed his best wishes and appreciated Bukhari’s efforts, describing him as pride of Pakistan and assured him of their support in his noble causes.
Shaandar Bukhari is the son of late Honourable Syedzada Sakhawat Ali Shah Bukhari, a well-known name for social welfare amongst the expatriates diaspora in Oman.
