MUSCAT: Philippines Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman Raul S Hernandez formalised a partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Burjeel Hospital in Al Khuwair. This collaboration underscores the embassy’s shared commitment in establishing a mutually beneficial environment where the health and well-being of every Filipino take precedence.


With a distinguished history and a widespread presence across Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and India, Burjeel Hospital is poised to provide exceptional healthcare to the Filipino community. The presence of over 40 Filipino healthcare professionals within Burjeel Hospital ensures a standard of professionalism that instills confidence to those seeking medical treatment or consultation.


In his speech, Ambassador Hernandez said, “I am optimistic about the possibilities this partnership brings. Together, we have the power to positively impact communities. Let us be the catalysts for a healthier and happier future, planting the seeds for lasting change.”


The Ambassador extended his gratitude to the operations manager for providing him and the embassy staff with a comprehensive tour of the hospital facilities and services. "This partnership heralds a new era of accessible quality healthcare for Filipinos in the Sultanate of Oman," Ambassador Hernandez added.
