Muscat: Oman Air on Friday has issued a statement regarding the widespread global IT outage impacting numerous sectors worldwide.

The airline reported that the only affected location within their network is Delhi, where they have resorted to manual check-in procedures due to a system failure at the airport. Passengers in Delhi should expect minor delays as a result.

The airline emphasized that the rest of its network remains unaffected. Oman Air is closely monitoring the situation and promises to provide updates on any significant changes as they occur.

This global cyber outage has caused major disruptions across various industries. In the United States, major airlines have ordered ground stops due to communication issues. Other sectors, including media companies, banks, and telecom firms, are also experiencing system outages that are disrupting their operations.
