

Muscat: The Ministry of Health on Tuesday has activated the Emergency Management Centre and the Medical Response and Public Health Sector following the shooting incident that took place on Monday evening in the Wadi Al Kabir area of Muscat Governorate.
The centre reported that the ministry, in collaboration with its health institutions and staff, began addressing the incident in partnership with University Medical City, the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority, and private health institutions.
The centre noted that Khoula Hospital, designated as the primary facility for receiving injuries, received support from specialized medical teams from the Royal Hospital and University Medical City. More than 50 specialized medical personnel were mobilized to manage the injuries.
