Muscat: The Menagen Pharmaceutical Industries Plant was opened in the Rusayl Industrial Area, on Monday.
The RO 20 million pharmaceutical plant is built on a 12,000 square metres land plot. It is constructed in accordance with the specifications stipulated by the Ministry of Health and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as well as the European Medicines Agency. It is the first pharmaceutical plant of its kind in the Middle East for manufacturing medicines for rare diseases.
