MUSCAT: Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) met in his office at Muaskar Al Murtafa’a on Tuesday with Maj Gen Munir Ud Din, Director General for International Military Cooperation of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and his accompanying delegation.


During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and discussed several military matters of mutual interest.


The meeting was attended by Rear Admiral Saif bin Nasser al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), Brigadier Hamid bin Abdullah al Balushi, SAF Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning, several senior SAF officers and the Military Attaché of Pakistan’s embassy in Muscat.


The Pakistani official also met with Maj Gen Matar bin Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), in the presence of Rear Admiral Saif bin Nasser al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO).


The two sides discussed areas of military cooperation between both sides and a number of matters of mutual interest.


The meeting was attended by Air Commodore Mohammed bin Amer al Kindi, Director General of Training and Inspection, several senior RNO officers and the Military Attaché of Pakistan’s embassy in Muscat.


Moreover, the guest was also met by Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (Rafo).


The two sides exchanged views and discussed several military matters of common concern.


This meeting was attended by several senior officers of Rafo and the Military Attaché of Pakistan’s embassy in Muscat. — ONA
