The highly anticipated Omani-Brazilian Investment Forum is scheduled to kick off at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre on Tuesday, May 7, under the auspices of Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism.
This forum holds particular significance as it coincides with celebrations commemorating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the Sultanate of Oman and Brazil. Organized by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion in collaboration with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event promises to be a pivotal moment in bilateral relations.
With a forward-looking agenda, the forum is strategically designed to align with Oman Vision 2040, focusing on economic diversification and positioning Oman as a pivotal hub for re-exporting to key markets across Asia, North, and East Africa. Delving into various sectors, including investment, clean energy, re-exporting, heavy industries, food security, and information technology, the forum aims to spotlight lucrative investment opportunities in both Oman and the Federal Republic of Brazil.
Moreover, the forum will serve as a platform for fostering partnerships and collaborations between the two nations, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and expertise across a spectrum of fields. From research and innovation to agriculture, space, and mining, the forum seeks to nurture robust bilateral relations and cooperation, particularly within the private sector.
