MUSCAT: The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MoHERI) and Sohar University on Sunday signed a cooperation programme to promote and develop the exchange of professional information.
The programme was inked by Dr Muna bint Salim al Jardaniyah, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation for Vocational Training, and Dr Hamdan bin Suleiman al Fazari, Vice Chancellor of Sohar University.
Through the programme, the ministry will benefit from Sohar University’s experience in the field of listing qualifications in the National Qualifications Framework. The ministry will also take insights from the university’s practices in the field of quality assurance, including institutional accreditation, policy reviews and incubators.
The programme also helps in organising events, research and innovation activities, and training operations. — ONA
