MUSCAT: The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MoHERI) explores means of enhancing scientific exchange and boosting cooperation with Peking University of the People’s Republic of China.


This took place when Dr Rahma bint Ibrahim al Mahrouqiyah, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation received in her office on Monday Qiao Jie, Executive Vice-President of Peking University and her accompanying delegation.


The two sides discussed means of enhancing cooperation in training fields. They also highlighted the matter of connecting Omani universities with Peking University through the exchange of sabbatical leave programmes.


The meeting was attended by Nasser bin Mohammed al Busaidy, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Republic of China and several specialists from the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. — ONA
