Muscat: The latest analyses from the National Early Warning Center for Multiple Risks indicate the possibility for a trough of a low pressure system to affect the Sultanate of Oman from May 2, which may lead to rainfall of various intensities, Oman Meteorology said in a statement.
It is expected to affect the northern governorates of the Sultanate and extend gradually to affect Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates.
The specialists at Oman Meteorology are monitoring the expected weather developments, an official statement said.
