Muscat: The Oman Meteorology Department has issued a statement indicating the likelihood of an atmospheric depression affecting the Sultanate of Oman from Thursday to Saturday.

During this period, it is anticipated that clouds will develop and move across the governorates of Musandam, North Al Batinah, and Al Buraimi. Additionally, scattered rains of varying intensity are expected in these regions. There is also a possibility of cloud formation and scattered rains over parts of the Hajar Mountains and the coastal areas along the Sea of Oman.

Met urged seagoers to exercise caution as the Sea on the coast of Musandam Governorate and the Sea of Oman are expected to be rough during this time.
