Muscat: The Ministry of Education on Tuesday has decided to suspend work in schools and shift to distance learning in all public, private, and foreign schools in all governorates, except for the governorates of Dhofar and Al Wusta, on Wednesday due to prevailing conditions.

"Continued suspension of work in schools in all public, private, and foreign schools in all governorates, except for the governorates of Dhofar and Al Wusta, for tomorrow, Wednesday, due to the atmosphere in the Sultanate of Oman continuing to be affected by depression. Schools may opt for a distant education system on this day if necessary, " said the Ministry.
