MUSCAT: The 'Made in Oman' programme, which is shown on the Omani television, highlights the most prominent Omani factories in the global markets and their significant contributions to the global presence of the Sultanate of Oman.


The programme, consisting of 30 episodes, introduces viewers to the production chain in Omani factories, starting from sourcing raw materials to manufacturing the product, quality inspection, preparation, and even shipping for marketing.


It aims to highlight the success of the Omani industry in investing in local raw materials and transforming them into products, some of which are unique in the region.


The programme showcases the complex production processes products go through, where Omani youth contribute efficiently and enthusiastically, benefiting from the experience gained from the factory's established staff and external expertise working in these factories.


It also highlights some leading Omani factories that are relied upon by large international companies to produce and market their products in the Middle East region, such as the Vale Iron Factory and the Areej Oils Factory, among others.


It showcases the high level reached by the Omani industry in achieving self-sufficiency and exporting products in large quantities and high percentages of production to European countries, America, countries in the Middle East region, and the Arabian Gulf.

The show presents unprecedented industries in the Middle East region, manufactured in the Sultanate of Oman, including the manufacturing of truck trailers, and oil and gas transport tanks, which are highly complex industries that require advanced technology and excellent human skills.


It reveals the other side of the development reached by some Omani factories in automating factories and using technology in all stages of production, reflecting the significant progress achieved by these Omani factories.


The show focuses on the beginnings of these factories, how they started with simple financial resources and limited production quantities to reach today a very large production capacity, achieving significant financial profits compared to their inception.


It covers 30 factories from various governorates in the Sultanate of Oman, with diversified production fields in food security, oil and gas industries, security industries, and basic materials industries.


The 'Made in Oman' programme aims to highlight the progress of the Omani industry, its ability to compete globally, and the strength and consolidation of the investment and economic environment in the Sultanate of Oman, which possesses the natural elements, raw materials, and efficient human resources to support any industry or investment within the country, which are attractive factors for local investors to mobilize their funds within the Omani market or for foreign investors to come to the Sultanate of Oman and launch their economic projects from Oman to the world.


The economic programme 'Made in Oman' is presented in a simple and descriptive language that maintains information through video elements, graphics, and written text. It is 15 minutes long, presented by Intisar bint Habib al Shibliah, directed by Mohammed al Baimani, and produced by Al Mada Media Company.
