Muscat: Muscat International Airport welcomed the new service of Air India Express from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) in Lucknow.


The airline commenced operations in Muscat and Dammam in Saudi Arabia on Saturday from Lucknow.


It will operate seven days a week.


The first flight to Muscat left with 77 passengers at 7.30 am, while 123 passengers arrived in Lucknow from Muscat at 3:30 pm.


Air India Express also flies from Muscat to Kannur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tiruchirapalli.
