MUSCAT: Al Buraimi Industrial City, affiliated with the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), signed an investment contract with the Golden Palaces for Trade and Investment Company, to establish a furniture production factory in the city, with an investment estimated at RO 7 million, on an area of 17,000 square metres.
The factory aims to integrate traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, use sustainable wood and environmentally friendly materials, and provide modern furniture designs characterised by high quality and precise details to meet the needs of the local market by 10 per ent, and export 90 per cent of its products to European and American markets and Middle Eastern countries. — ONA
