MUSCAT: Khalid Hilal al Ma'awali, Chairman of the Shura Council received on Wednesday the British Group Inter-Parliamentary Union (BGIPU) delegation, currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.
The meeting reviewed relations between Oman and the United Kingdom (UK). It also explored means of enhancing the bilateral relations in the areas of parliamentary diplomacy.
During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of boosting cooperation between the Shura Council and the UK Parliament in a manner that pushes the bilateral relations towards wider horizons.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Al Nadabi, Secretary General of the Shura Council and some members of the Council. - ONA
