MUSCAT: Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC) on Wednesday held its second meeting of the 1st annual sitting for the 5th term under the chairmanship of Dr Rashid Hamad Al Balushi, OHRC Chairman.
The meeting reviewed drafts of cooperation memorandums to be signed by OHRC with the General Federation of Oman Workers and some civil society institutions.
The meeting also discussed reports and complaints received by OHRC during the past period.
The meeting also touched on the basic human rights conventions to which the Sultanate of Oman has joined, the reports submitted to international bodies, and other topics related to the promotion and protection of human rights. - ONA
