Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH) plans to open three pharmaceutical and medical solutions factories in Nizwa, Rusayl, and Salalah, it was revealed at the second edition of the ‘Together We Make Progress’ forum, which was held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, on Sunday.

The MOH said its focus areas are to have a society enjoying sustainable health, a centralized healthcare system, technologically advanced medical systems, and services, and qualified and pioneering national personnel and capacities and diverse sources of funding.

The MOH seeks to save citizens' time and effort by providing treatment in their governorate or a specialized hospital nearby, without the hassle of traveling to Muscat for treatment.
