BARKA: The annual camel race competitions (2024), organised by Oman Camel Racing Federation, concluded on Thursday at Al Fulaij Race Track, Wilayat of Barka, Governorate of Al Batinah South.
The 4-day race included 69 runs for camel of various age groups and classifications. It saw a large turnout of camel owners and camel slimmers from different governorates of Oman. The 8 kilometres of the finale included 4 rounds.
The conclusion of the race was held under the auspices of Nasr bin Hamoud al Kindi, Secretary-General of the Royal Court Affairs, who felicitated the companies that sponsored the event and handed over prizes to the top winners. - ONA
