Interior minister meets Qatar counterpart

DOHA: Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidy, Minister of Interior met with Shaikh Khalifa bin Hamad al Thani, Minister of Interior of the brotherly State of Qatar at the Internal Security Force Camp (Lekhwiya), on Wednesday.


During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and ways of fostering them in various fields and exchanged viewpoints on several topics of common concern.

At the end, the minister of interior took a tour around the Internal Security Force Camp (Lekhwiya) during which he was briefed about the facilities, services, technologies and security equipment. He also visited the shooting field, the multi-service facility, the medical services facility and attended shows staged by the bomb squad, cavalry displays, riot control forces, the special unit and the search and rescue group.


The meeting was attended by Sayyid Ammar bin Abdullah al Busaid, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar. — ONA
