MUSCAT: Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidy, Minister of Interior, held a meeting on Thursday with the Chairman and members of the Majlis Ash'shura's 10th Term Elections’ Supreme Committee.
During the meeting, Sayyid Hamoud commended the committee’s dedication to its mission as a supervisory and monitoring body. He wished the panel success during the forthcoming period of elections.
For his part, Shaikh Al Mokhtar bin Abdullah al Harthy, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court, Chairman of the Elections Supreme Committee, spoke about the roles of the committee as it oversees the elections over a period of two voting days in Oman and abroad. He expressed his appreciation for the technical updates made by the Ministry of Interior to election apps “Intakhib” and “Intikhab”.
The meeting was attended by Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Chairman of the Main Committee of Elections. - ONA
