Majlis A'Shura denounces attacks on Yemen cities

Muscat: The Majlis A'Shura has denounced the attack by some friendly countries on several cities in the Republic of Yemen.

In an online statement, it said, “The Majlis Ash'shura is following with great concern the escalating conflict in the region, expressing at the same time its commendation and pride of the Sultanate’s stance on the ongoing conflict, and condemning the brutal attack on several cities by foreign powers.”

Those countries claim such attacks are aimed at safeguarding their maritime passages and averting any other exposure to their commercial vessels, disregarding the genocide by the occupied forces against Palestinians heartlessly and ruthlessly, the statement reads.

The council affirms that calls made by those countries to protect human rights are far from true since they are exploited for their material interests, irrespective of any consideration of any moral values or disciplines.
