

Muscat: Omani citizens living abroad will be able to cast their ballot for the tenth term of Majlis Ash'shura election next Sunday, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
In an online statement, H.E Ahmed Mohamed Nasser Al-Nadabi , Secretary General of Majlis A'Shura, said the electoral process has seen good turnout from the voters and candidates, noting that the new term is expected to be distinct in terms of its shape and outcomes.
“The 10th term of election is envisioned to keep pace with future plans and orientations of the Sultanate of Oman. Using advanced technologies, the electoral process has seen remarkable progress”, he said.
He said the Shura Council constitutes a roadmap for the tenth term of the elections, which moves on steadily and in harmony with His Majesty’s wise directives.
