Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources announced the occurrence of cases of shrimp death in the Wilayat of Rakhyout in Dhofar Governorate due to changes in sea temperature calling on the public not to consume these shrimp.
Specialists at the Directorate-General of Fisheries Research explained that this type of shrimp lives in the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea at medium to deep depths of up to 200 metres and death cases usually occur in winter.
