MUSCAT – In duo events, Ahmad Bin Majid (ABM) International Private School held the alumni meeting designed at fostering connections between the alumni and the school at the school’s mult purpose hall recently.


Held under the theme 'Building Connections', the events are part of the school’s series of forthcoming chain of activities and progress developments in celebrating 33 years of excellence in academics and instilling values.


The events, the first of its kind to be systematised for the ‘alumni, to the alumni and by the alumni’ is also designed at establishing support systems at the ABM school to bond them with the school and to strategically support them to grow and advance themselves through diverse approaches and benefits.


In his address, Najim bin Mohammad al Timami, Chairman, ABM International Private School, said, "I stand before you today with immense pride and gratitude as we celebrate ABM International's 33-year journey. Each year has been a testament to our collective dedication, resilience, and vision. As alumni, you have been the backbone of this institution, shaping its legacy and ensuring its continued success. We thank Allah for the memories we've created and the milestones yet to come."

In a welcome address, which was respectively presented at the occasions by Tasneem bint Said al Mufraji and Amir bin Ahmad Al Farsi, both former students of the ABM school, said: “We are thrilled to see so many familiar faces representing our diverse community of over 1,000 graduates, from our school that spans more than 30 years.


The agenda of programmes included an interactive networking session, an art exhibition, testimonials of the alumnus from abroad and an exclusive alumni business showcase and the alumnus community outreach initiatives such as the food distribution project in support of the needy people. There was also an initiative to donate a borehole in a school in Tanzania in favour of one of the deceased alumni of the 2019 batch.


Attractions also included an introduction of the first registered student three decades ago, a showcase of the latest registered twin students of the grade 12 students, and the youngest KG student of the current academic year.
