Muscat: Muscat Municipality (MM) and Oman Energy Association (OPAL) have inked a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) on developing an occupational health and safety system.
The two parties have teamed up to set up a general policy for the Municipality’s occupational safety.
The municipality will roll out a systematic plan to deal with worksites-related injuries and incidents.
By the aforementioned MoC, the municipality will set certain standards of occupational safety for the municipal work.
The two sides will join hands to activate safety measures for kids’ recreational games during festivities and events held by the municipality.
