The Youth Center signed a partnership agreement with Shell Oman Marketing Company to establish multiple training programmes for young people in Oman.


The programmes will focus on the field of modern technologies for automobiles, environment and sustainability. The agreement was signed by the Acting CEO of the Youth Center, Mariam Nasser al Khraibi, and the General Manager of Shell’s Strategy and Energy Transition, Burair al Lawati.


The Acting CEO of the Youth Center stated that this partnership with Shell Oman Marketing complements several other partnership agreements that the center has established with institutions that recognize the importance of supporting youth, developing their capabilities, and enhancing their skills in various fields in line with global changes and current requirements.


Burair al Lawati, the General Manager of Strategy and Energy Transition at Shell Oman Marketing, expressed satisfaction with the collaborative cooperation with the Youth Center, allocating a portion of the company's resources to support the ideas of youth in the fields of environment and technology, addressing the concerns of the youth sector in the Sultanate of Oman. He emphasized that the center serves as a link between the company and the community, where youth constitute the majority, and they aim to achieve fruitful results through this collaboration.
