MUSCAT: Bank Muscat thumped Sarco on Saturday in the A Division League 2023-24 powered by Khimji Ramdas LLC at OCA Turf 2.
Sarco were bundled for a paltry 115 courtesy Deepak Kumar’s 6 wicket haul along with Ali Hussnain picking 3 wickets. Mohammad Kamran Shiekh scored 24 for Sarco. In reply, Bank Muscat throttled their chase as Usman Ali Shah smashed 53 to power them to victory by 5 wickets. Nazish Mohammed picked 3 wickets for Sarco.
On Friday, Ideal International beat Khalsa United CT in the B Division League 2023-24 powered by Al Ansari Group of Companies LLC at Amerat – Municipality Ground 1.
Khalsa United CT posted 218 courtesy half centuries from Majid Rafique and Sushil Kadam. Sandesh Pusalkar and Kirit Tandel picked 3 wickets each. In reply, Ideal International’s Wasim Jamadar smashed a terrific 126 off 71 balls to drive them over the line with ease claiming victory by 8 wickets.
In the D Division League 2023-24 powered by Credit Oman LLC, Team Titans beat Al Waad Trad at Al Amerat's Municipality Ground 2.
Seetharaman Ramakrishnan’s 92 helped Team Titans ease through a target of 200 set by Al Waad Trad with help of half centuries from Sankarlal and Shameershah. Rudhi Rasheed was the pick of the bowlers for Team Titans claiming 3 wickets.
In the F Division League 2023-24, Jotun Anchery Blasters edged past Al Danube at the Amerat Municipality Ground 4.
Sadhik PM’s quickfire 62 helped Jotun post 154 on the board. Naik Abdul Gani picked 3 wickets for Al Danube. In response, Al Danube managed to score 148 falling short by 6 runs in the chase. Iqbal Ahmed scored a half century while Lenimon and Suneesh picked 2 wickets each.
