At its core lies the UNESCO World Heritage Site ‘Pearling, Testimony of an Island Economy", a testament to Bahrain's pearling era. The site not only preserves the history, heritage, and economic significance of pearling but also exemplifies culturally-led urban development. Rehabilitating the city's architectural and urban heritage ensures the perpetuation of the pearling narrative for future generations.

A key highlight of the festival is the Pearling Path Tour on December 19, 21, and 22, offering a journey through the old alleyways of Muharraq and providing participants with a deep dive into the pearling capital's history. For a modern twist, the E-Scooter Pearling Path Tour on December 16 and 23 adds a unique and exhilarating perspective to this historic site.

Photography enthusiasts can join the Muharraq Nights Photography Walk with Fujifilm on December 22 at 3:30 pm. The picturesque journey, starting at the Pearling Path Visitors Centre and concluding at Qal'at Bu Mahir, captures the mesmerising seashore during the enchanting sunset.

Food lovers are in for a treat with the Muharraq Food Walk by The Food Menu on December 17, 22, and 23 from 6 pm to 9 pm. Exploring the Pearling Path, participants will savour the unique flavours of Muharraq, from Bu Khalaf Coffee Shop to Bahraini halwa and 'qahwa' at Sophia Bookstore.

Renowned Bahraini photographer Ishaq Madan led the Muharraq Photo Tour on December 14 from 5 pm to 7:30 pm, offering participants a live learning session on composition.
