Singapore: As part of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s “state” visit to the Republic of Singapore, an official reception ceremony was held at the Istana Palace in the capital, Singapore.
Upon the arrival of the motorcade of His Majesty at the Presidential Palace,Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore, was at the forefront of those receiving and welcoming His Majesty, wishing him and the accompanying delegation a pleasant stay.
The President of Singapore accompanied His Majesty the Sultan to the podium of honor, where the Omani Royal Anthem and the Singaporean Republican Anthem were played.
The two leaders then headed to the reception building, where His Majesty kindly signed the visitors’ book.
