Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik is accorded an official reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan Palace in New Delhi on the occasion of His Majesty’s state visit by the Indian President Droupadi Murmu.

After the official reception ceremony, His Majesty the Sultan posed for photos with the Indian President, and the Indian Prime Minister.
Then, His Majesty the Sultan headed to the podium of honour, where the Omani Royal Anthem and the Indian national anthem were played.
After that, His Majesty the Sultan inspected the guard of honour.
When the procession carrying His Majesty the Sultan entered the gate of the Presidential Palace, a group of knights surrounded it and artillery fired 21 rounds in salute to His Majesty the Sultan.
Immediately upon the motorcade’s arrival at the presidential palace square, President Durbadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed His Majesty the Sultan and his accompanying official delegation and wished them a pleasant stay.
After that, His Majesty the Sultan shook hands with his senior delegates from the Indian side, while the Indian President and the Indian Prime Minister shook hands with the members of an official delegation from the Sultanate.
After the official reception ceremony, a photo was released documenting the historic visit of His Majesty the Sultan.
