Muscat: An Air trough of low pressure is likely to affect the Sultanate of Oman starting Friday, December1, according to the Oman Meteorology Office.


In a statement, the Met Office said rain with varying intensity associated with thundershower is predicted to cover governorates of Musandam, North Al Batinah, and Al Hajr Mountains, with possibility of extending over the coastal parts of the Sea of Oman.


The weather condition is expected to last until Sunday, December 3.
