Muscat: To avoid traffic jams due to holidays and long weekends, trucks are prohibited from using some of the roads.

The Directorate General of Traffic- announces that movement of trucks is not permitted as follows:
Tuesday (November 21) from 12 pm - 4 pm.
Saturday (November 25) from 6 pm - 10 pm
The roads where trucks are banned include Al Dhakhiliyah Road (Muscat - Bidbid Bridge). -Al Batinah Highway (Muscat - Shinas).
