Muscat: The effects of the weather condition (air trough) will begin today with the formation of cumulus clouds in Musandam Governorate, parts of the Hajar Mountains that include the governorates of North al Batinah, South al Batinah, Al Dakhiliyah, Muscat, North al Sharqiyah, Al-Buraimi, and Al Dhahirah, leading to thunderstorms of varying intensity, accompanied by active downward winds, and hail, leading to the flow of wadis. Rainfall will be in the range of 10-25 mm.


Thunderstorms of varying intensity, accompanied by active downward winds, will lead to rainfall amounts in the range of 10-250 mm and flowing wadis.


Sunday night and Monday morning (November 5).


Rain clouds will flow during the late night of today and early morning of tomorrow, Monday, over the coastal parts of the Musandam and North Al Batinah Governorates, gradually extending to include the coasts of the Muscat and South Al Batinah Governorates. Rainfall will be in the range of 5-15 mm.


Monday afternoon (November 6)


Cumulus clouds continue to be active and thunderstorms of varying intensity will fall, accompanied by active downward winds and hailstones, leading to the flow of valleys and reefs over the Hajar Mountains and their neighboring areas, including the governorates of South Al Batinah, Al Dakhiliyah, Muscat, North Al Sharqiyah, and South al Sharqiyah. Rainfall will be in the range of 15-30 mm.
