New air trough likely to affect Oman next Sunday

Muscat: The Oman Meteorology Office said on Thursday the Sultanate of Oman is likely to be affected by an air trough of low pressure.


According to weather forecasts, the impact of the upcoming weather condition is predicted to begin next Sunday, November 5.


The Met Office said it is going to release detailed updates and expectations in the next few hours.


Meanwhile, Dhalkut in Dhofar recorded the highest amount of rainfall of 236.3 mm as of October 2023, while Sayq recorded the lowest of 37.2 of the same month.
