Muscat - Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received a phone call from Dr. Hussein Amir Abdullahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, during which they exchanged views regarding the continuation of the Israeli military aggression against the Gaza Strip, the fall of more civilian casualties, and the destruction of public facilities, including hospitals and schools.
The two ministers also discussed regional and international efforts made to achieve a humanitarian truce and allow relief operations to carry out their tasks to treat the wounded and injured, deliver urgent living supplies to the population in the Gaza Strip, and repair vital facilities.
They stressed the importance of giving priority to diplomatic and political work and adhering to international law in restoring the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people by ending the occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state, and that there is no interest in expanding the scope of this brutal war waged by the Israeli occupation forces, which must bear its legal consequences.
