Over 10,000 seedlings planted in Khasab

Khasab: The Environment Department in Musandam Governorate planted 10,100 seedlings of Sidr and Ghaf at Khor Al Najd area in the wilayat of Khasab on Monday. The drive was organised with support from Sohar Aluminum Company, as part of the national initiative to plant 10 million trees across Oman. The campaign aims to increase vegetation cover in pastoral and degraded natural areas. This initiative coincides with Arbor Day, which falls on October 31 of each year.
