Muscat: As Dhoafar region started feeling the impact of cyclone Tej with heavy rains in Sadah, the Ministry of Health, in coordination with the National Emergency Management Committee, on Sunday decided to evacuate Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah, Dhofar Governorate, provided that all emergency cases will be received in the building of the Cardiac Medicine and Surgery Center in Salalah, and in the emergency department of the Armed Forces Hospital in Salalah.


National Emergency Management Committee urged all people residing in areas expected to be affected by the tropical condition to proceed to the nearest shelter center. For emergency, call the Relief and Shelter Sector Operations Center at: 23373805
