Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has denounced the Israeli attacks on Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza, killing and injuring hundreds of civilians.

This, Oman affirmed, represents a war crime, a genocide, and a violation of international humanitarian law.

The World Health Organization (WHO) on Tuesday “strongly" condemned the Israeli airstrike on the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza which killed hundreds and injured many others.

“WHO strongly condemns the attack on Al Ahli Arab Hospital in north Gaza,” Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the WHO director general, said on X.

Earlier, more than 500 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza, Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra told Anadolu.

Tedros said: “We call for the immediate protection of civilians and health care, and for the evacuation orders to be reversed.”
