MUSCAT—The Royal Opera House Muscat is delighted to present a brilliant jazz concert from two extraordinary artists. Igor Butman, Russia’s leading jazz musician, and Randy Brecker, 7-time GRAMMY winner and one of the USA’s most celebrated artists will lift the roof at the Royal Opera House of Musical Arts. Performing as a sextet with 4 further outstanding musicians, expect a concert channelling the influences of a broad spectrum of popular artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra, and Chick Corea.

The concert will be performed in the 500-person auditorium of ROHMA, creating an intimate and relaxed vibe perfect for jazz. Alongside the long held theory that jazz music encouraged higher levels of creativity, according to a study conducted by Johns Hopkins University, listening to jazz can improve your memory, mood and verbal abilities.

The opera house is dedicated to creating bridges between countries and cultures and to providing a platform for incredible international artist to perform in Oman. The dynamic jazz concerts performed over two nights with the Igor Butman and Randy Brecker Sextet are testimony to the power of music to create unity.
