MUSCAT: The National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking (NCCHT) on Tuesday held its second meeting of the year (2023) under the auspices of Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali al Harthy, Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, Chairman of the Committee.
The meeting reviewed the efforts made by all departments entrusted with combating human trafficking, as well as the progress made in the National Action Plan (2021-2023) on this issue.
The NCCHT discussed topics of relevance to boosting the Sultanate of Oman’s efforts in addressing all aspects of human trafficking. — ONA
