Muscat: The Nafath platform adopted by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has attracted over 2,000 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and 4,000 registrants, assigned about 60 projects, and provided five training programs for various segments of society.

The Nafath platform, which was launched by the Authority in February 2022, is considered a virtual incubator that attracts specialized national competencies in the telecommunications and postal services sectors.

It aims to enhance the local added value of the telecommunications and postal services sectors and works to provide contractual projects, create a database of companies and national competencies, and provide training programs.

The Nafath platform is based on the idea of creating a supportive environment for entrepreneurial work to empower small and medium enterprises and self-employed individuals and to connect small and medium enterprises and independent business owners with opportunities in the telecommunications and postal services sectors

The platform targets technology companies, independent business owners, training institutions, small and medium-sized companies, and license holders in the telecommunications and postal sectors.

Nafath platform works to provide additional sources of income, launch projects and tenders, increase competition and transparency, and access to projects in the targeted sectors.
