Muscat: Oman Meterology has said that a tropical system (depression) is still centered around central north India and is slowly moving West towards the east of the Arabian Sea (North India - Gujarat).

It may appear East of the Arabian Sea between Wednesday and Thursday (September 20-21) and expectations indicate that there are chances of the system moving towards the middle of the Arabian Sea.

The direct impact on the Sultanate of Oman during the next five days will be high clouds.

Meanwhile, for Sunday, Oman Met said that there are chances of thunderstorms over parts of the Hajar Mountains, coast, and mountains of Dhofar Governorate, with high clouds flowing over the rest of the governorates
