Licenses to new private training institutions stopped for 9 months

Muscat: Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim bin Saeed al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, issued a decision to amend some provisions of Ministerial Resolution 39/2023, following which the temporary decision to stop receiving applications for licensing to establish private training institutions has been reduced to nine months from three years.


The Ministerial Decision 39/2023 stopped processing licensing applications for the establishment of private training institutions for a period of three years.
