One arrested for stealing car from a mosque in Salalah

Salalah: The Royal Oman Police on Thursday arrested a a person of Arab nationality on charges of stealing a vehicle from Salalah.


"The Dhofar Governorate Police Command has arrested a person of Arab nationality on charges of stealing a vehicle from a mosque in Salalah with the help of a key duplicator after making him believe that he is the owner, and completing the legal procedures against him," a statement from the ROP said.


In an another incident, ROP on Thursday said a traffic accident occurred involving several vehicles on the road leading to Jabal Al-Akhdar, with varying injuries. Road users are requested to pay attention and cooperate with the police officers present at the site until the vehicles are dealt with.
