Conference on human resources productivity kicks off

SALALAH: The 11th GCC Productivity Conference kicked off in Salalah on Wednesday under the banner of ‘Integration and harmony at work as factors for increasing productivity’.


The two-day conference is organised by the Ministry of Labour in cooperation with Al Asayel conferences company.


The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said, Governor of Dhofar, who honoured the speakers and supporting entities.

The conference comprises three working papers. The first deals with the concept of leading change and building institutional culture after restructuring and mergers.


The second working paper elaborates on strategic parameters of institutional structuring and mergers, taking Asyad Group as a model.


The third paper focuses on promoting job harmony by inculcating a culture of ‘happiness at work’, with the experience of Bank Dhofar as a model. - ONA
