SALALAH: The Light Park in Salalah Public Park organised by the Dhofar Municipality for this year’s khareef season will remain open until August 31, providing visitors with an array of enjoyable activities. Ahmed bin Awad al Rawas, from the Department of Events and Awareness at Dhofar Municipality, said that the illuminated park showcases artistically designed models of animals and plants using three-dimensional techniques. "These sculptures are adorned with lights, creating a delightful atmosphere in the area.

The illuminated garden stands out with its intricate details, showcasing the beauty of animals and plants, which contributes to creating a unique and enchanting ambiance," he said. To enhance the scene’s realism, the garden incorporates sound techniques and simulates animal sounds, adding an extra touch of authenticity to the experience. This year, khareef season is attracting numerous visitors and tourists from both within and outside the Sultanate of Oman, to relish the pleasant weather and breathtaking landscapes across the Dhofar Governorate. - ONA
