The Ministry of Interior on Wednesday announced the final lists of candidates for the Majlis Ash'shura’s 10th term membership. The names were published both via elections app 'Intikhab' and the elections website (elections.om). As many as 843 candidates, among them 32 women, will be contesting the elections. As per Article 44 of the Majlis Ash'shura Elections Law, candidates may stage electoral campaigns to introduce themselves, right from the date of announcement of final lists until the penultimate day of voting. The deadline for withdrawing candidacy will be on Sunday, September 3. — ONA
