Muscat: A group of people has been arrested after a viral video showing them engaging in a heated argument in the Wilayat of Al Seeb, the Royal Oman Police said on Monday.

According to ROP, a mass fight involving 13 men of Asian nationality had taken place in one of the Wilayat’s neighborhoods, causing disturbance to public peace and tranquility.

ROP said legal actions have been initiated against them.

In another incident, the Police Command in Al Wutsa Governorate has also held two residents of Arab nationality for facilitating the entry of infiltrators into the Sultanate of Oman, and arrested five others for illegally entering into the Sultanate and violating the Residence Law.
