MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik hosted a luncheon in honour of Shaikh Saud bin Saqr al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and the delegation accompanying him. Later, His Majesty the Sultan bid farewell to Shaikh Saud al Qasimi and his accompanying delegation, wishing them a safe return back home. His Majesty the Sultan also wished the UAE further progress and prosperity.
For his part, Shaikh Saud expressed his deep thanks to His Majesty the Sultan for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to him.
He wished His Majesty the Sultan good health, happiness and a long life. He also wished the Omani people more progress under the wise leadership of His Majesty the Sultan.
Shaikh Saud al Qasimi and his accompanying delegation were seen off by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, and Mohammed bin Nakhira al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Oman.
During the visit, the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah was accompanied by Shaikh Khalid bin Saud al Qasimi, Shaikh Saqr bin Saud al Qasimi and a number of officials at the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. - ONA
